About Ellesmere Port Golf Club

A New Chapter for Ellesmere Port Golf Club

Welcome to Ellesmere Port Golf Club, where a passion for golf, community and continuous improvement is driving an exciting new chapter in our club's history.

Under new ownership since November 2025, Ellesmere Port Golf Club is transforming, with significant investment in the golf course, facilities and overall experience for members, visitors and the wider community.

Our vision is simple: to create a golf club that everyone can be proud of.

We believe golf should be welcoming, accessible and enjoyable for everyone, whether you're an experienced golfer, a complete beginner, a junior taking your first swing or simply looking for somewhere to relax and socialise.

Investing in Our Future

Since taking ownership, we have been committed to improving every aspect of the club. From investing in new Toro greenkeeping machinery and course maintenance equipment to enhancing the clubhouse and surrounding facilities, we focus on creating an environment that delivers quality, value, and a genuine sense of belonging.

Our course is benefiting from a renewed approach to presentation and maintenance, with further improvements planned as we continue to raise standards.

And we're only just getting started.

More Than Just a Golf Club

Ellesmere Port Golf Club is more than somewhere to play 18 holes. We want to create a thriving community where friendships are formed, families feel welcome and people of all ages can enjoy sport, leisure and social activities.

With our golf course, clubhouse, gym and hospitality facilities, we aim to offer something for everyone.

We're equally passionate about introducing the next generation to golf. Through our work towards becoming a recognised junior golf hub, alongside partnerships with local schools and community organisations, we're committed to creating opportunities for young people to discover and enjoy the game in a safe, supportive environment.

Our Vision

Our ambition is to establish Ellesmere Port Golf Club as one of the region's leading accessible and community-focused golf destinations.

We are building a club that combines excellent course conditions, affordable membership, welcoming facilities and a vibrant social atmosphere.

Whether you're looking to become a member, enjoy a round with friends, improve your game or simply visit our clubhouse, you'll always receive a warm welcome.

This is your club. Your community. And we're building something special together.
